Boston College Baseball

Massachusetts
NCAA Division 1
ACC
The Boston College Eagles are a Division 1 baseball team within the very competitive Atlantic Coast Conference, or otherwise known as the ACC. Although they haven’t reached the College World Series since 1967, the Boston College baseball program secured a Regional appearance in Austin back in 2009 and a Coral Gables Super Regional appearance in 2016. Due to their conference strength, they regularly compete against some of the top baseball programs in the nation. The program also holds an annual ALS awareness game, in honor of a former Eagle, who was diagnosed with what is also known as lou gehrig’s disease back in 2012. Shifting gears to institution specific information, Boston College is located in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, and has just shy of 16,000 students enrolled. It is a relatively difficult school to get accepted into posting about a 27% acceptance rate.
