If you’re a high school baseball player, or the parent of one, there’s a good chance you’ve heard of Siena College. It’s a Division I program in upstate New York that has produced some great players over the years. The most notable MLB player to come through the Siena baseball program is probably John Lannan, who recorded 46 wins throughout his eight-year career in the big leagues. The Siena Saints currently reside within the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC), regularly facing up against some other schools like Rider University, Quinnipiac, and Marist, during in-conference play. The program took home a conference tournament championship in 2014, which led to their first regional appearance since their 1999 season. So, what makes Siena such a great place for baseball, and more importantly, is it the right fit for you? Keep reading to find out.
